HackNight

Two Years in the Twin Cities!

Women Who Code is celebrating our second anniversary in the Twin Cities! Join us on Tuesday, November 7th at Target Commons.

If you are a woman interested in development, need help with a current project, or seek a supportive community of female developers in the area, come join our group! We’ll meet monthly in various locations across the Twin Cities metro area. Our workshops are open to women developers of all levels, from complete beginners to seasoned professionals.

Our HackNight is a freestyle coding event for developers to work on any coding project they like — whether that’s learning to code, learning a new language or creating a new application or website.

You’ll have the opportunity to announce your project, ask for help and mingle with other smart women in tech.

If you’re just starting off with coding, we’ll help you choose tutorials. Beginners can also pair program with other attendees. Mentors will be available to help you learn and answer your questions.

The Schedule

6:00 – 6:30 PM – Mingle, Network and Eat

6:30 – 6:45 PM – Welcome to WWC

6:45 – 8:30 PM – Choose Your Coding Adventure

Additional Notes

Women Who Code events are inclusive to all people who identify as women — we welcome trans members.

Out of consideration for our location sponsors, please try not to arrive prior to 6pm. They kindly host us after their normal business hours, and it is tough to handle early arrivals.

To ensure a safe and comfortable space for our members to network and collaborate, we ask recruiters to refrain from attending our event. If you would like to support our group, please contact the organizers to discuss the best ways to get involved. Thank you!
